Review: Stop It!

Stop It! by Sally O. Lee
Genre: Children’s literature/fiction

stop it

Stop It is about George and Anabel (and Anabel’s cat Lulubell). George is a bully and Anabel doesn’t like that. She tells him to stop and he feels very bad, then makes up for it.

This is a cute story about bullying and how ugly and mean it is and encourages children to stand up for themselves and not to put up with bullies. It shows the bullies that there are better ways to have fun than to watch someone suffer.

The illustrations in this book are by the author, and are really cute. They are watercolor and pen and ink, and have a very fun loving and exciting energy to them.

Recommendation: Children under the age of 5
