Ah! it is really killing me to give away this book, because I absolutely adored it, but still—I promised I would, and I want other people to be able to read it too.
I have one (only one!) gently read copy of Lockdown: Escape from Furnace 1 ARC by Alexander Gordon Smith up for grabs. the tentative publication of this date is October 27—one month from today.

If not for your review, I might not have wanted to read this book. Not only because of the cover, but because the main character's name is the same as the author's - that always worries me a little, like maybe the author identifies a bit too closely with the protagonist, and he'll turn out to be a Mary Sue (or the male version of one).
