The summer I turned pretty: for such a simple story line, this book drew me in right way. I am about halfway through and I feel that I know what will happen, (obviously I'm not sure yet because i haven’t finished it) but I am dying to finish the book anyway. the writing is good, the sentences are good, and the language is a lot cleaner than some of the other YA fiction I've read recently. I wish Pulse It was a little faster in loading the pages, because i want to finish this book!
Catching Fire: book two of the hunger games. I am not going to start it until my homework is done, that way I can read it all in one sitting!
Along for the Ride: Sarah Dessen’s newest novel! so excited!
The fortunes of Indigo Skye: I’m not quite sure what the story line of this book is supposed to be yet, because I haven’t gotten very far yet. but—The thing about me and books, is that, if the first paragraph does not capture my attention, I put it down. If I’m in the library, and I see a book, and I read the back of it and it sounds interesting, but I start it and it feels dead, I won’t even bother checking it out. I was pulled right into Indigo’s world from the first paragraph. I could feel her character, I could feel what she cared about and how she thought. Although the summary and the cover were not compelling in any way, the first chapter was.
